2013 Book Festival

Well, another North Texas Book Festival has come and gone.  I personally think it was one of the best ones we have had.
We were entertained by Donna Fielder and Rose-Mary Rumbley as we ate the great barbecue from Metzler's at the Book Trails Dinner on Friday night.  The grants were awarded and the Book Awards were announced.  The conversation flowed and we all had a great time.  New friends were made and old friends got caught up.  That's what it's all about, right?
Then Saturday ,the festival day dawned.  Authors began arriving and the energy really got high.  They all get set up and we were ready.  The readers began arriving and you could hear the Oohs! and Aahs! all over the building.  The sessions started and comments as they left were very positively good.
We are already planning for next year.  Anyone who would like to support us with monetary donations or sweat equity will be greatly appreciated.  Just email us at ntbf10@verizon.net or cwood@tattersallpub.com.

Make comments to share your experiences at the 2013 North Texas Book Festival.
