Grants must be submitted online only.  Be sure to read the grant application carefully.  There have been some changes.  Contact us at ntbf10@verizon.net if you have questions.

Public libraries, school libraries and non-profit literacy programs in the North Texas area, including, but not limited to, the following counties: Denton, Dallas, Cooke, Wise, Tarrant, and Collin will be eligible for a North Texas Book Festival, Inc. grant for the year 2019.
North Texas Book Festival, Inc. is non-political, non-sectarian and non-profit in all its policies and activities. Public libraries, school libraries and non-profit literacy programs to be considered for funds must meet the same criteria and must have been established for a minimum of three years.
Recommendations by the Grant Committee will be determined by the information in this application.
Application Deadline: All applications for the 2019 grant must be submitted to the grant committee no later than January 31, 2019.
Proposal Review: Proposals will be competitively reviewed by the NTBF Grant Committee.
Notification of Recipients: Grant recipients will be notified by Monday March 15, 2019 via email that you provide on this application. Grant awards will be presented at the Chuckwagon Breakfast, Saturday, April 6, 2019.

All proposals will be subjected to number-coded, blind review. Specific reference to the applicant MUST be limited to information in the General Information Section. Any application that references the applicant within the grant (Part 2) will not be considered for a grant, so be sure to read what you have written carefully before submitting.

A written project evaluation is REQUIRED (we would like to have any pictures and PR that you can send us) at the completion of the project.  We will send you a questionnaire for this evaluation.

Successful grant recipients will be required to spend $50.00 of their grant money on books at the festival.
